AGNOSTIC FRONT Bassist Mike Gallo Gives Update on Next Record & New Band Documentary

Elliott had a chat with bassist Mike Gallo of AGNOSTIC FRONT this past Saturday at the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market in Trenton, NJ and Mike revealed to Elliott that the band is about halfway done with writing material for their next record and they are planning to hit the studio to record it soon. This next album will be the follow up to their previous effort “The American Dream Died” which was released in 2015 on Nuclear Blast Records.

When asked his opinion on who the “Big Four of Hardcore” should be, he named his own band Agnostic Front since he was a big fan since before he joined the band along with Murphy’s Law, Bad Brains and Minor Threat.

Elliott and Mike also talked about the new AGNOSTIC FRONT documentary called “The Godfathers of Hardcore” which is currently being screened at select locations while being shopped for a network to pick it up. The documentary tells the story of the lives of singer Roger Miret and founding guitarist Vinnie Stigma as Mike mentions in this interview, and it has been getting high praises by critics who have already seen it. Elliott asked Mike when the movie will be released on DVD and available to stream and he replied that they are hoping to have it fully released within the next year or so.

The trailer for the movie can be seen below and it looks incredible:

As usual, Elliott threw some fun questions in the mix during the interview, and they also talked about Mike’s artwork that he was selling at the show. The interview can be seen here:
