Elliott caught up with the hilarious Dean Lamb of tech metal gods ARCHSPIRE yesterday before their show at Kingsland Bar & Grill in Brooklyn.
In this video, Dean goes over his 8-string Kiesel guitars with Elliott and denies being a robot. He also talks about his view on reincarnation, talent, and more fun stuff with Elliott in the segment that follows the gear rundown.
When asked about a possible timeline as to when we can expect a new record, he responded with:
“We’re gonna go back after this, and back home. And we’re gonna be home for ten days. I’m gonna give you my entire schedule, OK? Back home for ten days. Then we go back to Europe, we’re gonna play Hellfest. We’re gonna play TechFest. We’re gonna play some show in Tel Aviv…a bunch of crazy stuff. Then we’re gonna come back and probably take a week off. And then we’re gonna start writing. We’ve already started writing but we have 2 minutes of music. Have you heard our music? Very, very fast. So 2 minutes of music takes us a month and a half, ya know? It takes us a long time. So, we’re gonna go back and we’re gonna write as absolutely as hard as we can. And then we’re gonna go on tour again. And then we’ll come back and we’ll keep writing. Our goal is next year, BUT maybe the year after that. So we’ll see.”
