Last weekend I was at Monster Mania and had an awesome time! I got a WWE championship belt, stayed at the hotel and met some fans of mine! I also got to interview Doug Bradley (who was doing a signing there). If you didn’t know, Doug Bradley played Pinhead in the classic “Hellraiser” horror movies. In the interview, my favorite thing that we talked about was the wasps and how freaking annoying they are. He also talked about his deep love for the band Ghost and how he doesn’t consider them a metal band.
Doug Bradley said “There is a band that I am a huge fan of, but it’s very controversial, I gather, to call them a heavy metal band because I know a lot of people in the heavy metal community get upset if they’re referred to as a heavy metal band. I like them because I don’t think they are a heavy metal band and that’s Ghost.”
Even though most people don’t consider them a metal band, I still think they’re pretty metal. At least their older albums. This was a very fun interview for me because I like his dark humor and his delivery when he makes jokes. I also really loved his work in Hellraiser and it was pretty cool to sit down with the man who played Pinhead. This was also my first time asking for an interview on my own without my mom or dad.
