Hey everybody!! As you can see from the title, I had the chance to interview both Power Trip AND Creeping Death! Let’s get into it!
For the Power Trip interview I sat down with Riley Gale. I first saw Power Trip live with Cannibal Corpse and they blew my mind. And now, I finally got to interview them!! Riley has quickly become one of my favorite frontmen in metal and I love his unique style of singing live. In the interview we talked about weird recurring dreams, writing new music and a lot more! It was a pretty fun interview and I’m looking forward to their new album. I think they have one of the best live performances in metal right now, so definitely check them out if you haven’t already! Creeping Death is an amazing death metal band that I just started listening to. Their latest album “Wretched Illusions” sounds like they are playing music in a cave from hell. My favorite song from them has to be “Corroded from Within.” The opening riff makes me want to smash a hole through the ceiling. I think Creeping Death is in my top 5 favorite death metal bands currently. I was very happy to meet them all and interview Trey and Reese. We talked about Bigfoot, filming in a cave, and much more! Everybody was so cool! They gave me a free limited edition “Wretched Illusions” record and everybody signed it! Watch the interview here:
Both bands were so amazing live. This show really tempted me to go in the mosh pit and my dad even allowed it but a dude early came out of the pit holding his nose so I decided not to. This night was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had!
