My Top 5 Favorite Songs to Listen to While Working Out!

Hello everybody! This the second post on my blog! Today I will be telling you what my top 5 favorite songs to listen to at the gym are:

#5 Myage by the Descendents

I absolutely love this song! It has that fast-paced energy to it that gets me pumped up when I listen to it! I usually listen to this song when I’m jogging on the elliptical machine and it actually makes me jog faster. It gives you pure adrenaline!

#4 Wrathchild by Iron Maiden

This song has that attitude and punch that makes you feel like you’re wrestling a WWE superstar for a championship belt! I usually listen to this song when I’m lifting weights or doing the Lat pull-down machine. It’s an incredible song and Paul Di’anno’s vocals are perfect.

#3 Anti-Pope by The Damned

I am a huge fan of The Damned and if you are too, you know you can’t go wrong with this song! The whole song is super catchy and I love how The Damned blends Goth and Punk together. Every song from them makes me feel like I am a bat flying in the night. I also really like the way Dave Vanian sings this song almost like he is having a conversation with you. This song is perfect for the elliptical!

#2 Executioner’s Task (Swing of the Axe) by Power Trip

This band is incredible! It reminds of old school Metallica with Slayer Whammy bar squeals in the background. This song is perfect for pumping iron and this band has turned into one of my favorites ever since I saw them live opening up for Cannibal Corpse! If you haven’t listened to them yet,  then definitely check them out!

#1 Six Pack by Black Flag

When I listen to this song it punches me right in the face with its killer riffs and bass line. You could really feel the anger in Henry Rollins’ voice and it makes me want to throw fists! I listen to this song probably around 4 times while I’m at the gym and it’s also one of my favorite songs in punk. If you’re going to the gym, then definitely listen to this song!
