Hello, everybody!
This is Elliott and today I want to talk about WrestleMania!! It was the very first WrestleMania that I have ever watched and it was absolutely awesome! It was filled with action-packed matches the whole night and it inspired me to write this blog.
The first match I want to talk about is the Andre the Giant Battle Royale match. Braun Strowman caused destruction in the ring and won the trophy. If you didn’t know, one of my favorite wrestlers is the Monster Among men, aka Braun Strowman. The funny part is that there has been a feud going on between Braun and 2 stars from SNL, Colin Jost and Michael Che. Both of them entered the Battle Royal and at the beginning of the match they hid under the ring until the end where tried to catch Braun off-guard and throw him over the top rope. But they failed and Braun won!
Another one of my favorite matches of the night was The Women’s Battle Royal. Sadly, none of my favorites won because Carmella hid under the ring until there was only one person left in the ring (Sarah Logan). But that’s alright, it was an amazing match!
The Seth Rollins vs. Brock Lesnar match was great, too. I don’t really like Brock Lesnar because he only defends his championship at pay-per-views and never appeared at Monday Night RAW, almost like he was too good for a regular WWE match. So when Seth Rollins stomped his face into the ring 3 times and won the Universal Championship, it made me feel so psyched.
Now, I’m going to talk about the Kofi Kingston vs. Daniel Brian match. The coolest part about this was that Kofi has never gotten an opportunity like this and he’s been in the WWE for 11 years! This match was a nail-biter and once Kofi Kingston did a “Trouble in Paradise” kick to Daniel Bryan, I knew it was over! Kofi Kingston is finally the WWE Champion!
